Basing on electron diffraction data, electron and oscillation spectroscopy the existence of the third allotrope modification of line-chain carbon based on sp1-bond is stated and its structure model is described. Particular attention is paid to the IR- and Raman spectra of carbyne. This allotrope modification is unstable in macrosystem, but gets stability in nanosize area. Synthesized and found in nature samples of carbyne do not exceed 100 nm.
