The authors analyzed main key features of the process of space scanner panoramic images formation. They give the principle of formation of panoramic image scans and specifics of angular motion compensation of panoramic images. The authors obtained strict formulas to calculate the angle between velocity vector of photographic film motion and exposure slit, angular velocity of head mirror scanning and current scanning angle. They describe how to define topological parameters of photofilm structure of space images and image points formation time on the scanning interval using index numbers of pixels of the digitized panoramic image.
