A two-dimensional problem of radiation from an infinite periodic array of horns excited by TE waves is considered. The problem is solved with using the method of projective matching of the fields on the array aperture combined with the method of generalized scattering matrices. The scattering matrix of the horn transition from the input waveguide to the array aperture is determined from solution of the system of ordinary differential equations derived according to a new modification of the embedding method. Some results of calculations characterizing both the approach proposed and the horn array itself are presented and discussed
