The calculation and analysis of coupling parameters of ridged waveguides through small circular apertures in common wide wall is carried out. Two different positional relationships of the waveguides are used – both ridges are on the common wall of waveguides and both ridges are on the outer walls. Electromagnetic fields and cutoff wave numbers are calculated by method of partial regions including field singularities at the edge. For calculation of single aperture couple parameters the Bethe’s quasi-static theory is used. For calculation of aperture system couple parameters the theory of multiport circuits catenation is used. The calculation results of S parameters and directivity for single apertures and aperture systems for different waveguide positional relationship are given. The comparison of received results with the results of mesh-type simulation is made; the efficiency of proposed method is confirmed.
