E-Type Oscillations in a Rotating Cylindrical Resonator

The solution of a boundary problem about free oscillations in a rotating cylindrical resonator is found. The formulation of this boundary problem is based on the solution of a wave equation for Debay’s potential of the E–type oscillations. In turn, this wave equation is based on invariant Maxwell’s equations. It is found, that, due to rotation, there are two eigen oscillations of the same types. Besides there are two eigen frequencies of rotation. These frequencies depend on both type of oscillation, and eigen frequency of the "mo-tionless" resonator.
