This paper is concerned with various aspects of the characterization of HF channel scattering function with simulation modeling methods. HF narrow band channel scattering function computation methods with different propagation models theoretical validated.
Scattering function, impulse response and transfer function models of deterministic and stochastic narrow band HF channels was achieved. Features of them changes depending on channel characteristics were educed. The parameters value for common and selective types of fading was determine. With involved experimental HF channel parameters data was shown that developed models allow examine radio channels quality and determine fading type.
Given models allows investigate channel conditions, quality, fading types and ability for communication in HF radio systems.
