A nonlinear model of the signals quantization process is considered. A technique for evaluation of nonlinear distortions of digitized harmonic signals at their quantization with arbitrary schemes of coding and numbers approximation and with various number of quantization levels is proposed. Calculations were made and dependencies were established between the nonlinear distortion coefficient and a number of quantization levels for two schemes of approximation (truncation and rounding) and two schemes of coding (direct and supplementary codes) of numbers.
