Experimental investigation of spin-wave excitation spectrum of tangentially magnetised two-dimensional Magnonic Crystals

Spin-wave excitation spectra of tangentially magnetised two-dimensional magnonic crystals based on yttrium-iron garnet film were experimentally investigated. Low-field and high-field (comparing to film's spectrum) resonance modes were found. It was shown, that properties of spectra depend on crystal's symmetry, on magnetisation direction and associated with formation of internal magnetic field structure analogous narrow ferrite waveguides system.
