The paper is devoted to waves dispersive properties research of a rectangular wave guide with plane-parallel dielectric layers and a thin resistive film between them. Two-layer and three-layer shielded wave guides are considered in work. The purpose of researches is to analyze waves dispersive characteristics, electromagnetic field components and power streams density distributions on wave guide cross-section.
During the solution of the problem a dispersion equation division into two factors has been received. The equations describe separately LE and LM waves that has allowed to simplify algorithm to solve and to identify dispersion characteristics of given wave guide own waves.
The dispersion equations roots numerical search technique, based on limiting transition to a wave guide without a resistive film, is offered. High-speed investigated structures characteristics calculation algorithms are developed.
The dispersion characteristics calculation results, power streams density and field distributions of the given structure own waves are resulted, their physical interpretation is given. As a researches result some features of dispersive characteristics behavior is shown. In particular, a increase in attenuation with growth of frequency have been marked. The opportunity to apply the two-layer waveguide with resistive film as high-pass filter is shown
