Synthesis and analysis an optimal code delay lock detector algorithm in a satellite navigation receiver

An optimal algorithm of code delay lock detection in a satellite navigation receiver is synthesized. The algorithm is based on processing of 6 correlator outputs. The decision is receive using theory of optimal signal processing. Analysis of potential characteristics for correct estimation probability of locked delay tracking is fulfilled. There is shown that for delay tracking error   true tracking is detected with probability 0,9 at signal-to-noise ratio   dB. There is considered simplified algorithm of code delay lock detection that is implemented in practice. This simplified algorithm has a bit less probability characteristic. In terms of energy parameters the degradation is 4,5 dB at  = 0,9 and  . Analysis results of factors that lead to reduction of false detection probability of delay tracking is implemented. There is shown that reduction of false detection probability to 0,03 leads to energy loss of 4 dB for correct estimation delay tracking probability
