Optimal range’s measurement with quasi-continuous sounding signal to slowly-fluctuating amplitude of reflecting signal

Using in RLS signals with small duty factor the measure of range to target is provided by method low-frequency modulation (usually linear) of probing pulses or by method of using several probing pulses with different repeating frequency (method enumeration of re-peating frequency). It is needed to be built posteriori dense probability of delay mirror signal pk(td) using method repeating frequency in all possible range from 0 to Dmax, Dmax – maximize range of RLS action. After that, this dense for every using repeating frequency is undependable, get final posteriori dense probability of delay mirror signal: where ppr – priori dense prob-ability time of delay mirror signal; pk(tз) – posteriori dense probability time of delay mirror signal tз on k PFR in range from 0 to Dmax. Delay of signal is found by maximum of final posteriori dense probability.
Such method of range measurement minimizes errors in case undependable amplifier fluctuation and signal faze from one pulse to another one. In some cases amplifier closer to be never changed and therefore there is the task of optimize the method of range measurement with weak fluctuation amplifier of mirror signal. Such situation is more suitable for signals of helicopter, for targets with one shiny white point and perhaps for purposes have being made according with «STELS» technology and while it is using short time of measurement.
