The development of parallel programs is a very time-consuming process, so before you start this work, it is important to correctly assess both the expected effect of parallelization, and the complexity of this work. Achieving maximum efficiency of high-performance computing systems is possible only under the condition of careful coordination of the structure of programs and algorithms with the features of such systems. The estimation of the acceleration obtained in this case determines how effectively parallel calculations can be organized with increasing complexity of the technical problems to be solved.
