The problem of mastering a single information space in the work of a design engineer with business correspondence documents

The problem of the transition of Russia to the digital economy (order of the Government of the Russian Federation of July 28, 2017 on the approval of the Digital Economy of the Russian Federation program) is particularly relevant and entails an increase in the number of enterprises in various industries that introduce electronic document management systems (EDMS) into the enterprise management system. EDMS allows you to minimize the processes that do not create value to manufactured products and services, providing a positive economic effect on the financial component of the enterprise.
The processes that do not create value products include: optional movement of workers, i.e. movement of personnel in order to obtain information due to imperfect information systems, as well as irrational arrangement of units; the expectation due to the receipt of various permits and approvals, obtaining information from previous stages of work and other pieces of information.
In addition to product development processes, an important element in the aviation industry is administration processes. They organize the correct and harmonious interaction of all departments of the enterprise. In this area, active work is underway to introduce the EDMS.
On the basis of the design department of the aviation industry enterprise, studies were conducted that proved the impact of the in-troduction of the SED and determined the specific values of enterprise resource losses by conducting timekeeping of the work of the design engineer with internal and external business correspondence documents in the «before», «process» and «as a result of» rejection of paper media.
To investigate this process, interviews were conducted with design department employees of different ages and qualifications on the problem under consideration.
The identified losses occur in the transition to the EDMS. Enterprises face a problem – software products that are used in different departments of an enterprise are often not integrated with each other, and, as a result, the same information has to be entered several times, creating several types of databases.
To minimize losses, it is necessary to create a single information space (SIS), which will ensure the correct interaction of all programs – the data entered in one program is automatically distributed to all used ones. These results can be provided by the introduction of additional modules in software products.
An important aspect is the involvement of all employees of the enterprise in the process of understanding and understanding the im-portance and effectiveness of the changes.
As a result of the research, it can be concluded that the introduction of the EDMS, as part of the integrated automation of the entire production activity of the enterprise, at the enterprises of the aviation industry leads to a significant reduction in organization losses in the development of innovative products.
