Spatial-polarized processing of radio signals in hypercomplex space

To achieve sufficient precision of phase surface’s position finding, and consequently finding the direction of electromagnetic wave’s coming, it is necessary to provide significant spatial aperture or to create special geometry of antenna system. However further de-velopment of existing hardware solutions or implementation of original configuration of spatial aperture does not provide significant improvement of precision indicators and this research direction can be considered unpromising.
Fundamentally new approach to solving the task of the identification of the direction of electromagnetic wave’s coming is the transition to the notion of field’s full vector as a new information parameter that characterizes the direction of electromagnetic wave’s coming.
Besides, the description of field’s full vector with the help of quaternion’s apparatus also gives methodological advantages. In quaternions this description is the fullest and the most compact, being at the same time simple and accessible for study.
