Coordinates measuring method of stationary radio sources for base-correlation systems with moving measuring basis

Known coordinates measuring methods of stationary radio sources for base-correlation systems are based on calculation of position lines, finding their crossing points and estimation the measured coordinates. These methods do not consider the precision of position lines, depending on signals correlation in reception channels, on accuracy of coordinate measuring.
In this connection there is proposed an approach based on usage of surplus information about cross correlation functions of base-correlation systems with the moving measuring basis in case of coordinates measuring of allocated on a surface stationary radio sources. These cross correlation functions are the base for defining the two-dimensional position function similar to group of position lines (hyperboles) generated with classical time-difference method except that position lines are formed for each value of cross correlation function. Two-dimensional position function contains the information about correlation score, width of cross correlation function, and may contain correlation peaks of the poor signals, which are not detectable by criteria, used in a base-correlation method.
The proposed method allows to improve measurement accuracy of allocated on a surface stationary radio sources for base-correlation systems with moving measuring base.
