The article deals with sounding signals with modulation of the rotation frequency of the polarization vector. The question of the joint use of polarization modulation with classical modes of carrier-wave modulation (LFM, PCM) is considered. Features and advantages of using double modulation probing signals are given. An algorithm for processing such signals is presented. The work of this algorithm is verified on the model and experimentally. The combined use of PM with classical types of intrapulse modulation (LFM, PCM) allows to increase the information content of the resulting radar images.
