The smart connected product as innovative element of enterprise development

The development of innovative enterprises is connected with the industrial scouting system, which is based on the analysis, search, design and manufacturing of products which converge with complex cyber physical systems with sensors, microprocessors, software, capable of interacting with each other and exchanging data with other equipment.
To develop production portfolios of smart connected products, the enterprise needs to optimize business models based on best practices and lessons learned from international companies.
Based on the experience of international companies, it has been proposed to use the search model (industrial scouting) and the de-velopment of portfolios of smart connected products to diversify the company's production programs.
The main components of the model are data management platforms, knowledge databases and intellectual capital banks, corporate accelerators or external enablers, crowdfunding platforms for projects, educational platforms and programs for project-based learning.
Databases based on smart connected products (SCP) are formed from information substances and ensure strategic decisions by company executives about the directions of enterprise development and the size of investments.
Through the interconnection and collaboration of the components of the search and development model for portfolios of smart connected products, enterprises identify new market niches, increase market shares and provide competitive advantages through the supply of unique products that are in high demand.
