The application of the discrete-event method in the modeling of specialized instrumentation

In this paper we consider the simulation of specialized instrumentation using discrete-event simulation method. Based on the chosen method, the architecture of the modeling system is presented, where the core of the modeling is the mechanism of changing the system time in steps to the next event. The present work shows the possibility of using discrete-event simulation method for carrying out debugging of control programs. The advantages of the discrete-event method over the continuous modeling method are revealed and a schematic diagram of the device of specialized instrumentation is proposed.
