This study was carried out to assess the changes in the plasma coagulation balance in the experiment with 17-day isolation in the hermetic chamber.
The experiment involved six volunteers of both sexes in the age from 28 to 39 years old. Venous blood sampling was carried out in a test tube “Vacuette” (Greinerbio, Austria) with a standard content of sodium citrate. Collection of biomaterial was carried out seven days before the experiment, on the seventh and 14th day of isolation, as well as on the second and seventh day of aftereffect.
Citrated plasma was obtained by centrifugation of blood at 1500g for 10 minutes. The values of activated partial throm-boplastin time (APTT), international normalized ratio (INR), thrombin time (TV), fibrinogen (FBG) and plasminogen (PG) concentrations, as well as antithrombin III (ATIII), protein C and α2-antiplasmin activities were determined using the stan-dard clotting and chromogenic methods by means of automatic coagulometer Sysmex CA-1500 (Japan) using commercial kits produced by "Siemens" (Germany). Statistical processing of the obtained data was performed by the methods of varia-tion statistics using the Statistica for Windows application package (USA) with match pairs Wilcoxon’s test.
As a result of the data analysis it was revealed that the studied parameters values, with the exception of APTT, did not go beyond the physiological norm in all terms of the survey. When comparing the values of the parameters in the dynamics of the experiment with the background, a statistically significant decrease in the INR values on the seventh day of the experiment, on the second and seventh days of the aftereffect, an increase in the level of FBG, PG and ATIII on the seventh day of isolation, as well as shortening of APTT and an increase in the level of ATIII on the seventh day of the recovery period was found.
Perhaps, the increase in fibrinogen level on the seventh day of the experiment was due to the psychophysiological stress progress in the volunteers. It is known that stress initiate universal reactions of the body, including changes in the state of the hemostatic system, and fibrinogen is a positive reagent of the acute phase.
Hypodynamia, which is one of the main factors of isolation, could be the cause of changes in rheological parameters of blood, which largely determines the hemostatic system functioning. However, in the course of the experiment as preventive measures used physical training complexes, which contribute to the increase of procoagulant potential.
One of the factors of the experiment in the later stages of isolation was sleep deprivation. This effect could also lead to a shift in the coagulation balance towards procoagulant, probably due to the activation of endothelium.
Thus, during isolation, the changes in the studied parameters corresponding to the increase in the procoagulant potential and activation of regulatory mechanisms were observed. These effects seem to be associated with the action of experimental factors – changes in the mode of motor activity, sleep deprivation, the development of psychophysiological stress.
