Geometry of interneuronal syncytial connections

Recently, the literature on the widespread use of work on the function of nerve networks. In this case, structures are described and modeled, not consisting of fiber conductors, but of bodies of neurons and mediator synapses. In the present work, an attempt is made to analyze variants of interneuronal syncytial commissures, annular anastomoses and direct syncytial perforations that allow new possibilities of neural network modeling. In tissue culture, the mechanism of transformation of direct commissures and radial branches of neurons into curved collaterals and anastomosing networks is confirmed, which confirms the hypothesis of K. Golgi on the reticular structure, complementing the nervous theory of Ramon y Cajal (materials are reported at the XIV International Interdisciplinary Congress "Neuroscience for Medicine and Psychologists" 2018)
