Investigation of the influence of bio-acoustic correction on intellectual performance

The aim of the work is to bring the results of large-scale long-term studies of the evaluation and analysis of the bioacoustic correction innovative methods influence on intellectual performance and cognitive functions based on the registration of the electroencephalogram (EEG), and also by monitoring numerous test evaluations, both standard and original, of higher cognitive functions.
Testing and neurocomputer calculation of attention parameters revealed a differentiated increase in functional activity in accordance with the functional specialization of the region of the brain with which the dependence of the presented sounds was established. After listening to the sounds correlated with the left temporal lead, the parameters of attention to verbal tests are improved. After listening to the sounds correlated with the right temporal lead, there is an improvement in attention settings for image tests. The most significant results were obtained when testing the dynamic characteristics of attention. Evaluation of the dynamics of the reaction time over consecutive time periods of the tests showed that the greatest performance is observed with respect to those attention tasks, the fulfillment of which corresponds to the functional specialization of the brain regions, whose bioelectric activity was consistent with the presented sounds
Innovative hardware methods of bioacoustic correction are used in the Clinic of Bioacoustic Correction on the basis of the Institute of Experimental Medicine of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences (St. Petersburg) for complex treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of a number of diseases. The work proves the prospects of using the method in labor medicine for enhance intellectual performance.
