Determination of total bilirubin in blood serum using bacterial laccase

We present the results of the determination of total bilirubin in blood serum using thermostable laccase isolated from nonpathogenic soil bacteria Bacillus pumilus and possessing a highly specific bilirubin oxidase activity.
