Potential exactitude of a joint estimation of an azimuth and angle of elevation of arrival of radio waves from sources of radio-frequency radiation

In paper outcomes of the analysis of indexes of a potential exactitude of a joint estimation of azimuths and angles of elevation of di-rections on radiant of radio emissions by means of multi-channel monoimpulse detection-direction finders was reduce. Expression for the lower boundary of a matrix of a covariance of simultaneous estimations of an azimuth and an angle of an elevation of arrival of radiowaves from radiant of a radio emission by means of a multi-channel detection-direction finder with antenna system of an arbitrary configuration and performances of a directedness of antenna elements are received.
It are show, a limiting exactitude of an estimation of this parameters are in actual practice define both tool errors of an estimation, and stochastic errors who depended on the power ratio a signal noise and diagrams of a directedness of antenna system. With reference to equidistant ring antenna lattices in the absence of mutual influences stochastic components of errors of an estimation of an azimuth and an angle of elevation was not correlate and invariant to an azimuth in view of isotropic structure of an antenna lattice.
With magnification of an amount of antenna elements, ratios of radius of an antenna lattice to length of a wave and the power ratio signal/noise an exactitude of an estimation raised. With growth of an angle of elevation of a direction the error of an estimation of an azimuth increased by a radiant of a radio emission that are stipulated by a diminution of the aperture of an antenna lattice in a projection to a plane of a wavefront set of a radio-wave. At reduction of an angle of a place of a direction by a radiant of a radio emission, the error of an estimation of an angle of elevation beyond all bounds increased because of rushing to zero of the aperture of an antenna lattice in an angle of elevation plane. Presence of tool errors of an estimation will lead to deterioration of an exactitude of an estimation according to expression (22).
The receive outcomes allowed to carry out the analysis of indexes of potential effectiveness of functioning of detection-direction finders with various antenna system (regarding a configuration, an amount and performances of a directedness of antenna elements) and to solve a problem of engineering synthesis of antenna systems of detection and direction finders of subsystems of radio-electronic investigation of complexes of radio-electronic struggle.
