The analysis of the main results of the formation regularities studying of the one-component and nanocomposite polymer-based coatings from the active gas phase was carried out. It was shown that such a technological method is a universal technique of synthesis, charac-terized by high technical and economic parameters. Changes in the conditions and regimes of the course of the stage-by-stage generation of the gas phase by electron-beam dispersion, transport of dispersion products and their deposition on the surface are possible within a wide range of the molecular structure and properties of the coatings. The high efficiency of using such coatings as antibacterial, active sensor elements, frictionless ones was established.
