Amplification of terahertz plasmons in screened graphene with pumping by optical plasmons

Amplification of the terahertz plasmons in graphene with the diffusion pumping of graphene by optical plasmons is studied theoretically. It is shown that the diffusion pumping of graphene by optical plasmons makes it possible to increase the gain of terahertz plasmons in graphene by approximately 60%, in comparison with the diffusion pumping of graphene by optical radiation at the same level of graphene pumping.
