A method for constructing an error ellipsoid for estimating the accuracy of locating earth stations of satellite communication systems by unmanned aerial vehicles

In the article approaches to the estimation of the positioning accuracy located emitters. As a measure of positioning accuracy located emitters it is suggested to use the volume of ellipsoid of errors. A method for constructing an ellipsoid of errors was developed to es-timate positioning accuracy of located earth stations of satellite communication system by unmanned aerial vehicle. On the basis a method with the help of simulation modelling the dependence of accuracy of the location from the route of the unmanned aerial vehicle. The method of constructing an ellipsoid of errors developed in this paper can be used for a priori estimation of WMD accuracy and selection of the optimal UAV traffic route
