The focus of this work is signals with high spectral and energy efficiency, applicable for high data rate communication systems. Pros-pective signal formats, included in various communication standards, were considered and analyzed. As a result of the analysis, their advantages and disadvantages were revealed. It is shown that a serious problem in the development of equipment using such signals is the complexity and resource intensity of the receiving device. Recommendations are made on the applicability of the selected modulation methods, the main characteristics and information in various forms of representation are given for convenience of comparison.
