Technological aspects of modular principle of construction of microwave paths of transceiver module for active phase array

The article considers the variants of the modular principle of the arrangement of receive-transmit modules (RTM) of active phased antenna array (APAA).
The technology of connection of RTM microwave units is proposed, it allows to create an improved microwave path and better RTM design in general.
Examples of practical implementation of IFU and X band RTM with connections according to the proposed technology are given.
A comparative study of the amplitude-frequency characteristics (AFC) of the transit channels of various IFU design and technology implementations is carried out.
The modeling results are presented. They show the possibilities of improving the RTM characteristics when using the proposed tech-nology for connecting RTM microwave units.
