The choice of energy efficient law for DISS FM signal modulation (Part 2)

The article consists of two parts. In part 1 the energy efficiency of signals with FM laws used in DISS to reduce the requirement on decoupling of transmitting and receiving channels is evaluated: harmonic (GFM), symmetric linear (SLFM). This is the second part of the whole article and it is devoted to energy efficiency of signals with ALFM and IFSK laws. The efficiency of suppression of leaked to the receiver radiated signal is evaluated, conversion losses of a signal in a microwave mixer and the influence of the difference frequency of the converted signal on the power loss of received signal depending on the reflected signal delay are determined. The comparative analysis is made and the energy efficient law of modulation is chosen from the main laws applicable in DISS. The conclusion made is that the effective law of frequency modulation is IFSK when signal processing in the receiver is improved.
