Melanoma is one of the most malignant tumors. Every year there is a steady increase in the incidence of melano-ma of the skin all over the world, so the problems of the diagnosis of skin melanoma for today remain extremely urgent. The review of the causes of melanoma of the skin showed that under the influence of various factors, the clinical parameters of skin pigmented lesions change, such as color, pigmentation uniformity, pigmentation intensity, size: diameter, area, borders, border sharpness, shape, etc. As a result of the comparative analysis of early diagnostic methods, the measured parameters were formulated to develop an automated noninvasive method for early detection of skin pigmented lesions, as well as technical requirements for an automated complex for express diagnostics of skin pigmented lesions.
