Investigated the criterion of ensuring the secrecy of radar operation by passive methods. The calculations of the maximum values of peak power of the probe signal in the absence of the influence of the interference factor and transmission loss based on the charac-teristics of modern receivers, electronic intelligence. Requirements are formulated for the time of coherent accumulation. It is shown that to meet these requirements, it is necessary to use the radar with adaptive spatial-temporal coherent accumulation. Passive methods do ensure the secrey of the work only by the side lobes of antenna pattern of the radar.
