Providing preset parameters of fractal impedances based on RC-EDP

Passive electronic elements with fractional order input impedance frequency dependence are objects of research – elements with fractional impedance (further – fractal elements, FE), on the basis of resistive-capacitive elements with distributed parameters (RC-EDP).

The purposes of work are: 1) RC-EDP with R-C-NR layers structure (R-C-NR-EDP) mathematical model formation technique development by the example of thick-film RC-EDP construction; 2) hardware-software system (HSS) development for automated measurement and mathematical model parameters identification of R-C-NR-EDP prefabricated sample; 3) R-C-NR-EDP FE trimming strategy definition procedure development for FE manufacturing errors compensation and required parameters achievement of phase-frequency characteristic (PFC).
Structural R-C-NR-ERP model what reflecting features of the thick-film element structure and nature of cross conduction between re-sistive layers of the element was constructed in the course of this research. Two-dimensional mathematical model of R-C-NR-ERP construction which was used for characteristics analysis and FE construction synthesis according to specified parameters requirements of its electric characteristics has been received.
HSS structure and functioning algorithm was developed. HSS based on industrial diagnostic-measuring system DMT-219 and parameters identification program of the mathematical R-C-NR-ERP model. Mathematical model parameters identification results of real thick-film R-C-NR-ERP and their comparison with mathematical model parameters which is originally used at R-C-NR-ERP FE construction synthesis are given. Automated system for R-C-NR-ERP electric characteristics measurement and identification provides y-parameters frequency responses measurement for frequency range up to 3 GHz with relative error ΔотнY = ±2%, resistance of resistive layers with ΔотнR = ±0,2% and capacities between resistive layers with ΔотнC = ±1%. R-C-NR-EDP FE post manufacturing trimming strategy was developed, being that the measured parameters of the mathematical R-C-NR-ERP model are entered into the two-dimensional FE analysis and synthesis program and the program creates the top resistive layer topological heterogeneity providing FE characteristic specified parameters in automated mode.
