Selection and analysis of methods of masking objects in the infrared wavelength range when the reconnaissance receiver is used the receivers on the basis of the matrix of solar cells currently require a strict methodological approaches.

On the one hand, giving a means of cloaking capabilities to hide the protected object when its radiant contrast to the background radiation of the underlying surface is close to zero, significantly complicates its use in typical combat conditions. On the other hand, the transmittance of a means to disguise just a certain part of the radiation of the object and its representation in the types of infrared systems intelligence in the form of images that allow reliable detection with the use of special algorithms (for the portion of the image of the object). This confirms the need for the development of a rigorous methodological approach to the study of the methods and characteristics of the means of concealment, which would ensure the effective concealment of the object and would be suitable to their widespread use without restrictions.

The result of the research: using the method of «integration source» obtained the amplitude distribution of the radiation from cloaked object, on the outer surface means of masking; by investing the obtained amplitude distribution of the radiation in the total distribution of the total area of limited field of view reconnaissance infrared receiver, the estimation of compound distribution in the subject plane with the further transfer of the considered plane in the focal plane of the system intelligence. It is shown that at equal values of noise in the images of the camouflaged vehicle and underlying surface by the difference in the signal levels of 5…10% has no significant effect on the probability figures of distinction.

The obtained results allowed to develop a methodical approach to evaluating the effectiveness of the means of disguise that allows you to keep a strict record of the distribution of the radiation intensity on the surface of the object and the underlying surface.
