Integral array of acoustic liquid sensors for Electronic Tongue instruments

It is experimentally shown that the sensing properties of the acoustic plate modes are be varied by the changes in a) direction of propagation in piezoelectric plate due to its anisotropy, b) the order of the mode n for each direction, and c) normalized plate thickness H/ for each mode and direction. Basing on these properties an array of acoustic liquid sensors integrated on a single piezoelectric plate is developed and tested towards various liquids like it is required for Electronic Tongue instruments.
