Features of operating conditions of radar stations in high latitudes

Heliogeophysical operating conditions negatively influence quality of work of radar stations of distant detection. Use of models of the environment for compensation of this negative influence allows to increase quality of work of radar means. Preliminary results of as-sessment of such compensation are given in materials of article. It is shown that use of the models considering key parameters of the environment of distribution allows to carry out estimates of operating conditions of radar station at a design stage. In article also ap-proach of calculation of existential characteristics of an oval of a polar light is offered. Knowledge of these characteristics of this structure can be used for assessment of conditions of observation the avroralnykh of radio reflections in a zone of responsibility of the radar station working in the conditions of a high-altitude ionosphere.
