Estimation of frequency offsets in communication systems with OFDM-signals

The possibility to use the high accuracy time frequency parameters measuring algorithms with weight counting is investigeted for multi tonal communication systems. The new method has been proposed to estimate the frequency shifts on several subfrequencies, which is relatively fast and with a great precision. The estimation of data rate benefit has been estimated, which is a value up to 2,8 Mb/s. The noise immunity of OFDM-system has been considered in the condition of the frequency offset. The way is shown to improve noise-immunity due to frequency offset compensation.
