Modern approaches to improve the quality of images from the multi-element Earth Observation Systems

Approaches to improve the spatial and radiometric quality of the images in the earth observation systems, in which several lines of photodetectors is used for observation, are considered. Procedure of combining information from several lines, providing the highest signal/noise ratio, has been сonstructed and investigated. The necessary and sufficient conditions for providing a united image quality are defined. Recommendations to the construction of the focal plane of the imaging system and to the choice of observation modes are given. The problems of several photodetectors lines data fusion procedure simplification are researched. А new balanced formulation of the problem of increasing resolution is proposed.
