The article analyzes the methods of formation of the direction-finding characteristics in azimuth and elevation planes with bunk two-layer equidistant three-element circular antenna array, placed on the mast device, installed in the actual earth\'s surface. The results of calculation of methodical and random errors of radio direction finding in azimuth and elevation planes, caused by the electrodynamic interaction of antenna elements, the frequency dependence of the antenna radiation patterns, the influence of the internal noise of the DF meter and the influence of the underlying surface are given. It is shown that in the conditions of a priori uncertainty parameters of mutual influence between the antenna elements of bunk antenna array, parameters of the underlying surface and the influence of the internal noise of radio DF meter to improve the accuracy of radio direction finding in the azimuth and elevation planes it\'s appropriate to use, respectively, the difference radiation patterns of the antenna pairs of each layer of the antenna array and the relative phase diagrams of antenna pairs of adjacent layers.
