Selection of sampling frequency converter based on asynchronous cascade interpolator parameters optimization

Sampling frequency converters with an arbitrary transformation ratuio based on asynchronous cascade interpolator are considered. The analytical relationship between spectra of the input and output signals of the asynchronous cascade interpolator is received. The hypothesis about spectral characteristics of cascade interpolation interference is formulated. The analytical expressions are received, allowing estimating from above a dynamic range of the interpolated digital signal after asynchronous cascade interpolation. Optimization of the selection of additional interpolation factor by criterion of equality of interference of the first and second stage of the cascade interpolator is executed. The original method of selecting the required values of interpolation and decimation factors, and also characteristics of corresponding filters for a given value of the dynamic range is offered.
