Mathematical model of the integration process between active radar and secondary radar

The paper proposes mathematical interaction model between active radar and secondary radar system it the process of support for air traffic control and friend – or-foe identification. The paper discusses and specifies conditions of implementation for target identification procedure based on functional description of active acquisition-and-tracking radars and secondary radars. The paper analyzes decision-making algorithm within the elementary «query-response» cycle. The algorithm makes it possible to estimate certainty for the decision being made as well as describes main functional relation between components of these systems.
