Nature of radiation damage in diamonds

The effects of wide range radiation damage on natural and CVD diamonds irradiated with fast neutrons or implanted with He, Ni, Xe, Kr ions and annealed up to 1700 °C were investigated by Raman scattering, photoluminescence and IR absorption techniques.
