Total conversion of terahertz wave polarization by plasmons in graphene with optical pumping without magnetic field

We theoretically study the polarization conversion of terahertz radiation by the graphene metasurface formed by a periodic array of graphene nanoribbons located at the surface of a high-refractive-index dielectric substrate (terahertz prism). It is shown that the total polarization conversion can be achieved in the total internal reflection regime of THz-wave from the graphene metasurface even at room temperature.
