The communication network vulnerability of a control system

The point of view at an estimation of a net-centric control system vulnerability is proposed. The method of approach is based on a value of the damage which a negative influence on the net elements causes to the control system. The communication network is presented over a subsystem which feeds the necessary information to performers of the control system main functions. As the lack of information makes it impossible for performers to fulfill their duty and external influences on some network elements lead to damage the transmission of information through the network we suggest making use a value of the damage to estimate a vulnerability of the control system communication network. Relationships between deviations of network state vector parameters and increase dysfunction of the network are presented. These relations give us the opportunity to estimate a value of the control system damage and a vulnerability of the communication network.
