Achieved in recent years, progress in the development of the element base, computing and radar technology allow you to create multi-function radar, greatly expands the area of application. This article describes the new modes of functioning radar unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to ensure the tasks detect objects which are hidden under the ground and in the forests, sea targets detection, in-formation security integration of UAVs into civil airspace patency assessment areas. The characteristic of some airborne radars foreign UAVs that implement the corresponding modes. Highlights the important role that multi-band and multi-frequency radar in solving the above problems radar. The information on the development of domestic and foreign dual-band radar.
