Direct numerical simulation of Mach’s wave propagation in su-personic flow

The paper presents the method direct numerical simulation of disturbance Mach’s wave in supersonic flow. The simulation results of mass flow and pulsation levels of mass flow are presented. Results of numerical simulation of mass flow and pulsation are compared with the experimental results at Mach number M = 2.5, Reynolds number Re = 5*106 and stagnation temperature T = 293 K. We used second – order approximation in time and third – order approximation in space.
