In the article the angle-measuring method of detection of range to the radio-frequency source during the two-beam ionospheric electromagnetic waves propagation under conditions of prior uncertainty of the ionosphere reflection height has been considered. The method is based on the measurement of the beam arrival angle in the elevation plane in one point. The statistical characteristics of range detection errors during the two-beam ionospheric radio waves propagation have been given.
