Peculiarities of oxide phases formation in nanostructured layers based on lead chalcogenides

The features of physical and chemical processes that occur at the interface of grains of lead chalcogenides at the nanostructured oxidation were considered. We performed a comprehensive study of phase equilibria occurring in the Pb-S-O system using the methods of equilibrium geometrical thermodynamics, in particular, by the methods of partial pressures diagrams and triangulation. We determined the phase composition of nanodispersed materials based on lead sulfide obtained by precipitation from aqueous solutions with subsequent annealing. It was shown that the model proposed described qualitatively the formation of oxide phases in polycrystalline layers on the basis of lead selenide, as well as in the layers formed of lead sulfide nanoparticles.
