Evaluation of phase-shift keyed radio probing signal parameters and theirs dispersions by maximum likelihood estimation

Analytical expressions for evaluations of phase-shift keyed radio probing signal parameters and their dispersions by maximum likelihood estimation are received in this work. Model researches of the received evaluations on the example of 13 position Barker code are executed on the base of these expressions. Dependences of evaluations and their dispersions on a signal to noise ratio for receiver entrance are constructed. The results confirm advantages of maximum likelihood estimation in comparison with classical processing methods and allowed to es-tablish limits of applicability of this method for the chosen modulating signal.
