The dynamic behavior of the rotary machines with AMB is described by a complex multi-loop nonlinear system. It is possible to more accurately realize stabilization of the rotor by using the adaptive control apparatus. This adaptive controller depends on the operating modes and allows changing the dynamic parameters of the electromagnets. The article describes the adaptive control device synthesis of active magnetic suspension for high-energy rotor machines. This control device allows changing the dynamic characteristics of supports, thereby stabilizing the rotor without higher vibrational modes (critical). An algorithm of PID controller parameters determination for operating speeds is proposed. It sets required stiffness and damping of the supports for all operating speeds.
