Quasi-analytical expressions for calculation of electrodynamic parameters of double-ridged and four-ridged waveguides

Quasi-analytical expressions allowing evaluating with sufficient for practical purposes accuracy the influence of sizes and electrophysical parameters of homogeneous dielectric filling of double-ridged and four-ridged waveguides on cutoff lengths of dominant and high order waves, the broadbandness coefficient and the wave impedance are obtained using the equivalent network method. Calculation results of considered electrodynamic parameters of double-ridged and four-ridged waveguides obtained by the use of the equivalent network method by different values of geometrical sizes are compared with known computational and experimental data.
